How long does is a session?
A session lasts for 50 minutes. I work with people weekly, and we can also work twice or three times weekly if this feels helpful in making the changes you wish to make.
What happens if I have to cancel a session?
I am always available for regular sessions apart from holiday breaks. I usually take about 10 weeks in the year. I give plenty of notice of breaks and would cancel with short notice only in emergencies. I expect to be paid for all other sessions. I will try my best, but cannot guarantee, to arrange an alternative time if you have to cancel. I would only charge for an alternative session if you cancelled late in the day.
How long does the treatment last?
This depends on the difficulties you want to work with. The kind of psychotherapy I offer is open ended so you have the space to work through difficulties without feeling restricted by time.
